Art Show

Another successful Art Show. Over 350 people attended the Gala Opening, to view over 300 paintings; while a further 300 people visited the show on Saturday and Sunday. 31 paintings with a total value of close to $18 000 plus were sold.

The overall winner of this year’s City of Warrnambool Art Show was described by the judge as a standout painting, full of movement and rhythm. 

 

Entitled Changing Tide, Susan Sambell’s acrylic interpretation of a local coastal scene winning was named best in show and earned the artist $2000 in prize money.
