We have progress........

Saturday 16th February saw the slab being poured.  Work started at 7am with Barry and Jarrod Fary, Eddie and Jason Sutcliffe and John Goss putting in the hard yards pouring of the slab.  This work was overseen by our builder, Rowan O'Brien.

It is obvious that many hands make light work!

Rotary House Warrnmabool has received it's first claim of $31,000  against the $500k from the Commonwealth. With the money pledged from the Commonwealth, net assets stand at approximately $1.3m and with the total cost of the project likely to land at $1.6m including fitout, we are encouraging all Rotarians and the Community to keep fund raising so we can raise the remaining $300k to reach our target of $1.6m.

Rowan is confident that we can have the project completed by the end of August. This is highly likely with Bill Quinlan on the job sourcing willing laborers to assist with the different tasks that Rowan will be handing him.

It is planned that at some stage during construction there will be a vocational tour for people to get familiar with the project. I will keep all updated as to when this is likely to take place.
