Peter Newell, who with Maggie Dwyer had attended the Science & Engineering Challenge, passed a certificate
recognising RCWE’s contribution to President Jim. Peter had also compiled a short video of activities at the Challenge and this was shown to members present.
3 WAT FM seeking news readers
Maggie Dwyer advised that 3WAY FM were seeking readers for their on-air news service – 12.30 to 1.00 p.m. Monday to Friday. It was noted that Jenny Baptiste, Mal O’Toole and Bruce Skilbeck are already involved. Please contact Maggie if you might be able to assist.
Warrnambool Running Festival
People needed to service 12-14 checkpoints for the run to start at the Pertobe Road Kiosk at 7.30 a.m. on Sunday 17 September. No BBQ needed this year. More details at next meeting.
